TODAY’S SPECIAL: TOMORROW (2026 -2027)

Ongoing community-led public art commission developed with Platform Arts in Easterhouse, Glasgow. Currently in development. Images include project documentation and development visualisations.

Working with the communities who use Platform and the surrounding area, we are developing a programme of workshops and collaborative research exploring food, place, memory and possible futures. Rather than beginning with a fixed artistic outcome, these more-than-representational sessions are designed to explore the stories, language, ideas and material that will shape the work as it develops.

The project will culminate in a series of permanent and semi-permanent public artworks installed across Platform, including a large-scale text work for the main library wall. Three to five additional interactive social sculptures will be produced in response to the community engagement programme.

At its heart, the project asks a question that increasingly runs through our practice: how can the knowledge, humour and experiences held within a community become the material for ambitious contemporary public art?

Commissioned with Platform Arts, Glasgow. Supported by Creative Scotland. Currently in development; artwork images shown are development visualisations.
